Silk
Road Music has been touring and promoting cross-cultural
music for 10 years. It has Chinese folk and classical
spiced with Brazilian, jazz and world instruments to
create one of the most exciting ensembles on the scene
today.

| Their
debut CD "Endless" won the 1998 West Coast
Music Awards Best Global Album and a year later was
nominated
for a Juno. They have been featured on VTV and CBC countless
times and are always a popular favorite |

| The
project features twelve Chinese Folk songs translated
into English, arranged for cross-cultural instrumentation,
and performed in both English and Mandarin by duets of
top Chinese and Non-Chinese singers. Silk Road Music's
lineup for the concert will range from a trio to an eight
piece band consisting of instrumental and vocal music. |
